About me

I am a Romanian-born creative professional based in New York City, driven by a lifelong passion for communication, storytelling, and understanding what connects people across cultures.

In 2015, I moved to the United States to pursue new opportunities and challenge myself in one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the world. While building a new life in New York, I supported myself by working in hospitality, steadily advancing from busser to server, bartender, and ultimately captain at one of Manhattan’s premier French restaurants. Those years taught me resilience, leadership, adaptability, and the importance of creating exceptional experiences for people from all walks of life.

At the same time, I pursued my academic goals with unwavering determination. In May 2024, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Prior to that, I graduated at the top of my class from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication in Romania, where I first discovered my passion for branding, advertising, and creative strategy.

Language and culture have always been at the center of who I am. Fluent in five languages, I have a deep appreciation for the nuances that shape how people communicate, think, and connect. This multicultural perspective has strengthened my ability to understand diverse audiences and inspires the way I approach marketing, storytelling, and brand development.

My passion for design began long before earning my degree. Through graphic design, I discovered a creative outlet that blends strategy, psychology, and visual expression. From developing brand identities and advertisements to creating logos and marketing materials, I became fascinated by the power of design to communicate ideas, evoke emotion, and influence behavior. Recognition through competitions and creative projects further reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in the industry.

Whether leading a restaurant team during a busy service, resolving guest concerns, or collaborating on creative projects, I am known for my resilience, strong work ethic, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented, I thrive in environments that challenge me to learn, grow, and contribute at a high level. I believe that strong relationships, clear communication, and genuine curiosity are the foundation of both professional success and meaningful creativity.

My long-term goal is to build a career in advertising and creative marketing, ultimately growing into a leadership role where I can combine strategy, storytelling, design, and consumer insight to create work that resonates with people and leaves a lasting impact.

Outside of work, fitness and nutrition are two of my greatest passions. Strength training has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the value of consistent effort—principles that I carry into every aspect of my life. I also enjoy developing healthy recipes, exploring new cultures and languages, staying connected to Latin music, and spending time with my cat, Luna.
